You can expect to be in our office approximately 2 hours for a full examination, oral cancer screening,  record taking, and cleaning.  We recognize that knowledge is power therefore we will make you aware of the condition of you your gums teeth and overall health and will make recommendation, including treatment recommendations to help you achieve optimal health.  We will give you the information to help you to make informed decisions. You are in no way obligated to proceed in doing any or all the treatment presented, however, we feel it our responsibility to be aware of all options to help you make informed decisions.

Record Taking:
If you have seen a dentist with in the past 12 months it may be helpful for us to obtain a copy of those films to assist us in diagnosing the health of your teeth, bone levels and gums. If recent x-rays are not available it will be necessary for new x-rays to be taken. Please note that Smiles by Design uses the latest in dental technology to help reduce your exposure to radiation.
